            Myths about anger:
            If I can just "get it out," I'll be better.
            This is just not true. Angry, rageful people simply get angrier when they get angry. Getting it out makes the problem worse, not better. We will teach you how to stop getting angry in the first place and begin stopping the problems associated with angry behavior.
             
            "I need to learn to effectively communicate when I'm angry."
            No you don't! If you have a problem with anger, you already communicate your anger too well! What you need to learn to do is NOT communicate anger.
             
            "But it is healthy to express my anger."
            Indeed, some people need to learn to express their emotions, including their anger, but not angry, raging people. With rageaholics, the more they express anger, the more anger they have to express.
